Many of you in Ohio and the Great Lakes region know us simply as Q-net, where we have offered technical assistance and professional development services to Head Start and the early childhood community since 1993. Current projects operated by ECQ-net in Ohio focus on early literacy, school readiness, and emergent content knowledge. Professional development modules developed with support from the Ohio Department of Education provide continuing education credits and optional university credits for all early education and childcare staff, teachers, and administrators.

Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten State Institutes for Reading Intervention (Pre-K/K SIRI). Ohio's Pre-K/K SIRI is comprised of seven different modules, each 12 hours in length delivered in four 3-hour sessions. Each module can be taken alone or as part of a total package.

Ohio's Early Learning Content Standards (OELCS). Three 12-hour modules (mathematics, science and social science) are designed to provide teachers with an in-depth understanding of the competencies needed by Ohio's children for school readiness and success. Each module will be delivered in four 3-hour sessions.

Preschool Literacy CORE Curriculum. The preschool core is a 15-session comprehensive early literacy curriculum for early childhood educators. This series helps teachers "connect the dots" among Ohio's Early Learning Standards, Get it, Got it, Go!, ELLCO and research-based practices.

ECQ-net offers Consulting Services and Technology Services to early childhood organizations and agencies at the state, regional, and national levels.
